On November 18, 2019, a new grand piano was dedicated to the memory of Lesli Wood and Robbie Giroir in the school’s auditorium. This dedication was came just one year after the sudden, unexpected death of two of the most talented musicians in the performing arts faculty at BRMHS. It had been a long held dream of Ms. Wood to have a grand piano on the stage so student piano recitals can be performed there. Following the dedication, piano students participated in their annual recital at BRMHS for the first time in many years.
