Senior Muna Beierlein was selected by the Louisiana Lieutenant Governor’s Bureau of French Culture to participate in the 2020 Wallonie-Brussels Youth Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. She is one of approximately 120 students from around the World who will take the role of a legislator or journalist while examining four projects using the same process carried out by the actual members of Parliament. A scholarship provided by the Youth Parliament will cover travel costs and meals during Beierlein’s trip. Beierlein participated in the French Immersion Program at BRFLAIM and Westdale Middle School before attending Baton Rouge Magnet High School where she is currently enrolled in French VI Honors.
