Baton Rouge Magnet High School Seniors Maria Leal and Yehshin Moon have been awarded full scholarships to the University of Notre Dame and Rice University through Questbridge, a national program that connects high-achieving high school seniors from low-income backgrounds with full four-year scholarships to top colleges. Out of over 16,500 applicants, QuestBridge’s 45 college partners matched with 1,674 Finalists, who are recognized as Match Scholarship Recipients. Maria Leal’s full four-year scholarship to the University of Notre Dame is valued at more than $300,000. Yehshin Moon’s full four-year scholarship to Rice University is worth more than $290,000.
